It. was adopted.
Mr. Turner, of Baltimore city, proposed the following
amendment:
"And be it enacted, That no conductor employed on the
cars, or services of, or in connexion with this corporation,
shall be paid a less sum than two dollars per day of twelve
hours' service for each and every day, and at a proportional
rate for any part thereof."
