sum of fifty dollars per share; and in the event of a failure
by any stockholder, to pay any instalment as aforesaid, the
capital stock held by him, shall at the election of the corpo-
ration, be sold at the risk of the said stockholder.             

"And be it enacted, That if the number of twenty thousand
shares of the capital stock shall not be subscribed at the time
appointed for opening books as aforesaid, the said corporation
shall have power at any time within six months from the
day of the passage of this act, to take subscriptions for the
residue of said stock; Provided however, that the entire capi-
tal stock of the said corporation, shall not at any time exceed
forty thousand shares."
