The bill entitled, an act to extend the time of Seth W.
Warfield, former sheriff and collector of Howard county, for
collecting the taxes placed in his hands for collection, and for
collecting the fees of his office;

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Liberty Turnpike company, in Carroll and Frederick coun-
ties;

The bill entitled, an act to repeal the 08th section of arti-
cle 18 of the code of public local laws, relating to the com-
pensation of the treasurer of the school fund of St. Mary's
county, and to enact the following section in lieu thereof;

The bill entitled, an act to amend the 24th, 25th and 34th
sections, relating to the city of Cumberland, of the first arti-
cle of the public local laws;

The bill entitled, an act to amend the code of public local
laws of Caroline county, by repealing section 181, relating to
schools, and substituting therefor the following;

The bill entitled, an act to amend the 8th article of the
code of public local laws, by adding thereto the following
sections, giving to the president and commissioners of the
village of Port Deposit power to pave the streets, and borrow
money on the credit of the corporation;

The bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of money for
the payment of the claims of W. Viers Bowie for legal ser-
vices rendered the State;

The bill entitled, an act to authorise Julianna Hall, of Har-
ford county, to convey two lots of ground to St. John's church,
in Havre de Grace;

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Union Rosine
Association, of Baltimore city;

Severally endorsed: "passed by yeas and nays."

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,
the House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an act
for the relief of Henry M. Fitzhugh;

Which was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays as follow:
