Mr. Briscoe, from the committee on Claims, reported fa-
vorably on the bill entitled, an act for the benefit of Stephen
J. Bradley, James T. Perkins, and Edward Sudler, former
sheriffs of Queen Anne's county;
Also, on the bill entitled, an act for the relief of John
Thawley, deceased, former collector of State taxes for Caro-
line county;
Also, on the bill entitled, an act to authorise the Comptrol-
ler to adjust the accounts of Elijah T. Abell, deceased, and
allow as credits on the same all sums of money for which the
State's attorney may have receipted;
Also, on the bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of
money for the payment of the claims of John Lindenborn,
for work done and materials furnished the House of Delegates
and committee rooms during the present session of the Legis-
lature;
Which were severally read the first time.
