code of public general laws by amending the 17th section
which provides for binding out children in the House of Re-
fuge by authorising the manager to bind them either in or
out of the State; the 18th section which directs the manner
of receiving inmates thereto, by authorising the managers to
receive the children of such parents as may desire it, and the
21st and 22d sections which appropriate and direct the pay-
ment of a sum of money annually for the support of the
House of Refuge, increasing said sum, and extending the
time for payment thereof;
The bill entitled, an act to amend the 117th section of the
18th article of the code of public general laws, which requires
the Orphans' to fix the commissions of executors in all cases
whether claimed by them or not, and substitute therefor a
section providing that where an executor shall renounce his
commission he shall not be taxed thereon;

a turnpike road in Baltimore and Harford counties, from
Meredith's bridge, on the Big Gunpowder Falls, to Jarretts-
ville, in Harford county;

of Baltimore city;
A bill entitled, an act to increase the compensation of the
judges of the Orphans' court for Montgomery county;

A bill entitled, an act for the relief of James C. Hen-
ning, clerk of the Circuit court of Montgomery county, and
William W. Watkins, clerk of the Circuit court for Howard
county, under the act of Assembly, passed December session,
1809, chapter 141;
