730            JOURNAL OF PROCEEDING [March 3,

Mr. Long, from the committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably on the bill entitled, a further supplement to
the act entitled, an act respecting hay and straw brought for
sale to the city of Baltimore;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Compton, from the committee on the Militia, reported
favorably on the bill entitled, an act to add the following
sections to the public local laws of Baltimore city, to provide
the mode of calling out the First Light Division Maryland
Volunteers, by the commissioners who constitute a board of
police for Baltimore city;

Which was read the first time, and by special order the
second and third time, and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
low!
