The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage :

By the Senate,

March 2, 1860.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received your message in relation to the election
of Bank Directors and concur therein.

We have nominated on the part of the Senate the following
gentlemen as Directors for the following Banks :

R. H. Mitchell, for the Bank of Baltimore; John Hoffman
and Samuel H. Briscoe, for the Mechanics' Bank of Balti-
more.

James Lloyd Martin and Levin T. H. Irving, for the Easton
Bank.

Edward M. Mealy and Lewis Heist, for the Hagerstown
Bank.

J. C. Parker, for the Farmers' Bank of Maryland.

We have appointed Messrs. Goldsborough, of Talbot, and
Yellott, to unite with such gentlemen as may be appointed on
the part of your House, to count the ballots, and report the
result thereof.
