The vote by which said bill wan rejected was reconsidered.

The bill entitled, an act to repeal the 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95,
96 and 97th sections of the 19th article of the code of public
local laws, which relates to the taking of oysters by the citi-
zens of Somerset county;

Being upon its second reading under special order,

On motion of Mr. Stanford,
The bill was laid upon the table.

On motion of Mr. McCleary,

The rules were suspended to enable him to offer the fol-
lowing:

Ordered, That, no member of this House shall be permitted
to speak on any local bill more than once, and shall be limited
to five minutes; which

On motion of Mr. Durant,
Was laid on the table.

The bill entitled, an act to amend the 57th section of the
8th article of the code of public local laws, which fixes the
pay of the clerk of the county commissioners of Cecil county,
by substituting for said sections the following, increasing the
pay of said clerk;

Was read the second time, and by special order the third
time, and passed by yens and nays as follow:
