lic local laws by adding thereto the following sections relating
to the taxing of dogs for the purpose of paying for sheep
killed by them in Harford county;

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore Marine
Insurance company;

Which were severally endorsed "Passed by yeas and
nays."

The rules were suspended, and the House proceeded to con-
sider the bill entitled, an act to authorise the Comptroller to
adjust and settle the accounts of the inspectors of grain in the
city of Baltimore:

Said bill being upon its second reading, with an amend-
ment proposed by the committee, the amendment was adopt-
ed, and the bill was read a second time.
