pensate Joseph M. Palmer for professional services rendered
under appointment of the Governor, in the cases of the State
vs. George Hope, and the State against George Otto, in the
Circuit court for Carroll county ;
Also, on the Senate bill entitled, an act to appropriate a
sum of money to pay Charles S. Middleton, clerk of the Cir-
cuit court for Prince George's county, for certain fees due him
from the State ;

Boarman and Richard Grason, for professional services ren-
dered by appointment of Judge Price, in the trial of the case
