Mr. Turner, of Baltimore city, presented a memorial from
five hundred citizens of Baltimore, against the prohibition of
future manumission of slaves;

Severally referred to the committee on Colored Popula-
tion.

Mr. Renshaw presented a memorial from S. W. Gosnell,
John W. Watkins, G. K. Bennett and other citizens of Bal-
timore, in favor of the Brock Railway charter;

Mr. Miller presented six petitions from sundry citizens of
Baltimore city, in favor of the Brock Railway charter;

Mr. Bayless presented a petition from sundry citizens of
Baltimore city, in favor of the Brock Railway charter;

Mr. McCleary presented a petition from sundry citizens of
Baltimore city, in favor of the Brock Railway charter;

Mr. Seth presented a petition from sundry citizens of Bal-
timore city, in favor of the Brock Railway charter;

Mr. Wilson, of Cecil, presented a petition from sundry
citizens of Baltimore city, in favor of the Brock Railway
charter;

Mr. Krafft presented a petition from sundry citizens of
Baltimore city, in favor of the Brock Railway charter;

Severally referred to the committee on Corporations.

Mr. Routzahn presented a petition from sundry citizens of
Frederick county, praying the passage of an act to authorise
the sale of a school house number 31, in said county;

Referred to the Frederick county delegation.

Mr. Gorsuch presented a memorial from sundry citizens of
Hampstead district, in Carroll county, against the passage of
an act increasing the number of magistrates and constables,
in said district;

Mr. Mills presented a petition from George H. Davis, Up-
ton T. Dorsey and Peter Grove, praying for an act authorising
the commissioners of Carroll county, to levy a sum of money
for their benefit;

Severally referred to the Carroll county delegation.

Mr. Gorsuch presented a memorial from sundry citizens of
Carroll county, praying an act to incorporate the West-
minster and Deerpark Railroad company;

Referred to the committee on Corporations.
