Which was read, and ordered to be printed on the Journal.
On motion of Mr. Burgess,

Leave was granted the Charles county delegation to intro-
duce a bill for the relief of Joseph Stewart, late clerk of the
Circuit court for Charles county.

Also, leave was granted the committee on Ways and Means,
to introduce a bill to provide for the valuation and re-asses-
ment of the real and personal property of the several coun-
ties of this State.

On motion of Mr. Brining,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to repeal the fourth article, section 277 of the
code of public local laws of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Landing,

Leave was granted the Worcester county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Worcester County Bank.

On motion of Mr. Miller,

Leave was granted the Cecil county delegation to introduce
a bill to make valid a devise of Benjamin Bowen to the trus-
tees of the Presbyterian church, at the head of Christiana,
Delaware.

Mr. Beall offered the following:

Ordered, That this House meet this evening at 7½ o'clock,
for the purpose of disposing of the reports of the committee
on Claims, and that thereafter the House meet at 10 o'clock,
A. M., sit until 2 P. M., adjourn to meet at 3½ o'clock, P.
M.; sit until 6 P. M., and adjourn to meet again at 7½, P.
M. No other than local bills shall be taken up after 3½
o'clock, P. M., unless no local bills shall be presented for the
action of this House, and that each delegation shall be enti-
tled, as their county is called, to call up as many bills as
there are members in said delegation. This order shall be
in force only on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
and Fridays, and shall not be so construed as to impair the
right of a member to move an adjournment at any time ;

The yeas and nays being demanded, appeared as follow:
