Mr. Naill presented a petition from sundry citizens of
Frederick county, in relation to the colored population of the
State;

Referred to the committee on Colored Population.

Mr. McAllister presented a memorial from a large number
of bank presidents and merchants, in relation to the charter-
ing of the Warehousing company of Baltimore:

Referred to the committee on Corporations.

Mr. Burgess presented a petition from Joseph Stewart
and the members of the late board of county commissioners
for Charles county, asking for the relief therein prayed;

Referred to the Charles county delegation.

Mr. Renshaw presented a petition from the Baltimore and
Havre de Grace Turnpike company, in relation to the laying
a passenger railway upon said road;

Referred to the Baltimore county delegation.

Mr. Linthicum presented a petition from sundry citizens of
Dorchester county, to sell free negroes for debt;
Referred to the Dorchester county delegation.

Mr. Jones, of Prince George's, presented a petition from
sundry citizens of Prince George's county, praying the pas-
sage of an act authorising the commissioners of said county
to sell or remove Primary School House No. 4, in the sixth
election district;

Referred to the Prince George's county delegation.

Mr. McAllister presented a petition from the Jackson
Guards, of Baltimore city, asking an appropriation for ser-
vices rendered at Harper's Ferry;
