memorial in relation to Judge Stump, report to the House by

The House adjourned.

EVENING SESSION, 7½ o'clock.

The House met. Present at the call of the roll the follow-
ing members:

ford, Bayless, Straughn, Booze, Berry, McAllister, Smith,
Turner, of Baltimore city, Denison, of Baltimore city, Coudy,
Brining, Griffith, McCleary, Mills, and Turner, of Howard.

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
act to authorise the Gas Light company of Baltimore, incor-
porated by the act of 1816, chapter 251, to increase its capi-
tal stock;

Which was read the second time.

The bill entitled, an act for the relief of John Tubman
and others;
