On motion of Mr. Mackubin,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel county delegation
to introduce a bill to amend the second article of the code of
public local laws, by giving additional powers to the corpora-
tion of the city of Annapolis.                                           .

Mr. Kessler presented a petition from David Keller and
others, praying that the county commissioners of Frederick
county, may authorise the building of a bridge across Catoc-
tin creek, on the road leading from Mount Tabor church to
Middletown.

Which was referred to Frederick county delegation.

On motion of Mr. Bryan,

Leave was granted a special committee to report a bill to pro-
vide for disposing of the State tobacco warehouses and the
erection of a new tobacco warehouse or warehouses on deep
water.

On motion of Mr. Denison, of Baltimore county,
The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Curtis' Creek
Bridge company;
Was recommitted to the committee on Corporations.

On motion of Mr. Maxwell,
The House adjourned until this evening, at 7½ o'clock.
