On motion of Mr. Kessler,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to intro-
duce a bill to make valid a bill of sale which is defective in
its acknowledgment, from Lott Norris to George Cline.

Mr. Legg offered the following:

Ordered, That the Treasurer furnish to this House as early
as possibly, with a list of the electors of the Senate for 1836,
who severally qualified and thereby caused a Senate to be
elected, and what compensation each member received and by
what authority;

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Stanford,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Farmers' and Mechanics'
Marine Railway, of Sharpstown, in Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Coudy,

The rules were suspended, and the House took up for con-
sideration the bill entitled, an act to add a new article to the
code of public general laws, under a title of "public build-
ings," providing for the custody, construction or repair and
completion of the public buildings of this State;

Said bill being upon its second reading;

Mr. Denison, of Baltimore city, proposed the following
amendment:

Strike out the fourth section;
Which was not concurred in.

Mr. Coudy moved a suspension of the rules to have the bill
read a third time;
