Mr. Griffith, from the committee on Pensions, reported un-
favorably on the petition of Ellen Shank, asking for a pen-
sion.

Mr. Legg, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to require the county commissioners
of Queen Anne's county to settle with the collectors of taxes
for county purposes annually, and to publish each year a
statement of their settlement;

Also, on the bill entitled, an act authorising and directing
the county commissioners of Queen Anne's county to publish
the levy list annually;

Which were severally read the first time.

Mr. Salmon, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to prevent the sale of intoxicating
liquors in Kemptown, in Frederick county, and within one
mile of the same;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Bryan, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to add the following sections, rela-
ting to schools, to article 16 of the code of public local laws;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Burgess, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to amend the 12th article of the
public local laws, by repealing the 92d and 111th sections,
relating to printing, and substitute the following;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Beall, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act exempting the Union Hall Associa-
tion, of Westernport, from taxation:

Also, on the bill entitled, an act to repeal the 200th sec-
tion of the first article of the public local laws, and substi-
tute the following therefor;

Mr. Worthington, from a select committee, reported favor-
ably on the bill entitled, an act for the protection of rabbits
in Baltimore county;

Also, on the bill entitled, an act to amend the third article
of the code of public local laws relating to Baltimore county,
