The said bill was then sent to the Senate.

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the 127th section of
the code of public general laws, imposing a fine upon min-
isters for marrying minors under certain circumstances;

Was read the second time, and by special order a third
time; when

Mr. Goldsborough moved to reconsider the vote by which
the bill was ordered to a third reading;

Which was concurred in,

And the said bill reconsidered to a second reading.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day;

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
act to carry into effect the 8th section of the act entitled, an
act for the promotion of internal improvements, passed at
December session, 1835, chapter 395;

Said bill being upon its second reading,

Mr. Legg moved a call of the House.

Upon the call of the roll,
On motion of Mr. Miller,

The Doorkeeper was sent after the absent members.

After sometime the Doorkeeper returned and reported that
he had notified the absent members.

On motion of Mr. Burgess,

Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

The House then resumed the consideration of the bill en-
titled, an act to carry into effect the 8th section of the act en-
titled, an act for the promotion of internal improvements,
passed at December session, 1835, chapter 395;
