On motion of Mr. McCleary,
Leave was granted the Allegany county delegation to re-
port a bill for the Frostburg Bank of Allegany county to es-
tablish an office of discount in the city of Cumberland.
Mr. Maxwell offered the following :
Ordered, That the committee on Claims be authorised to
pay to James T. McCullough, chairman of the committee on
Finance, and Archibald Sterling, Jr., chairman of the com-
mittee on Ways and Means, of the last General Assembly
of Maryland, two days per diem and mileage each, for their
attendance upon this General Assembly, for the purpose of
making their report.
