Also, the bill entitled, an act to repeal sections 18 and 19
of article 55, of the code of public general laws;

Which had been referred to the committee on the Judi-
ciary;

Were referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Mr. Mackubin, chairman of the committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably on the bill entitled, an act for the benefit of
Lucinda M. Sellman, of Anne Arundel county;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Harding, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to give Samuel T. Stonestreet,
trustee of Silas Browning, late sheriff of Montgomery county,
further time to complete his collections;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Brown, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to authorise the commissioners of
Howard county to levy a sum of money not exceeding three
hundred dollars, to build school house No. 4;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Lawson, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to repeal the 135th section of the
code of public local laws of Somerset county, and the 94th
section of the code of public local laws of Worcester county;

Which was read the first time;

Mr. Freaner, from the committee on the Judiciary, report-
ed favorably on the bill entitled, an act to make valid the ac-
knowledgment of a deed from Emanuel Bowman and others,
to Amelia Dilowter;

Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Harding,

The rules were suspended, and the Senate bill entitled, an
act to refund to the legatees of Thomas L. Offutt the money
paid by Turner Wootton, administrator of said Thomas L.
Offutt, on the forfeited recognizance of Thomas M. Offutt;

Was read the second time, and by special order a third time,
and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
