Mr. Mackubin, chairman of the committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably on the bill entitled, an act appropriating a
sum of money to pay A. B. Hagner, attorney for Tucker
& Tongue, Nicholas H. Green, clerk of the Circuit court for
Anne Arundel county, Levin Woolford, clerk of the Circuit
court for Somerset county, J. S. Inloes, John Clark, Whitney
Cushing, John Houck, sheriff of Washington county,
and John Cullen, for services rendered and articles furnished
the State;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Barnard, from a select committee, made a favorable
report on the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Western-
port and Frostburg Turnpike Road company;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Morgan, from the committee on Agriculture, reported
favorably on the bill entitled, an act to amend the 30th arti-
cle of the code of public general laws by adding thereto the
following sections relating to the adulteration of guano;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. McCleary made a favorable report on the bill entitled,
an act to amend the 24th, 25th, and 34th sections relating to
the city of Cumberland, of the 1st article of the code of public
local laws;

Which was read the first time and referred to the committee
on the Judiciary.

Mr. Welch, from a select committee, made a favorable re-
port on the bill entitled, an act for the benefit of Lucinda M.
Sellman, of Anne Arundel county;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Claims.

Mr. Medders, from a special committee, made a favorable
report on the bill entitled, an act to amend article 14th of the
code of public local laws by adding thereto the following sec-
tion relating to the public roads in Kent county;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Dennis, of Somerset, made a report on the bill enti-
tled, an act to amend the code of public local laws, article
19th, relating to apprentices in Somerset county;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Jones, of Prince George's, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act requiring the Orphans' court of
Prince George's county to pay to the trustees of the Bladens-
