From 1st of October, 1855, to 30th of Septem-

From 1st of October, 1856, to 30th of Septem-

Total,.......$1,009,063 40

All of which is respectfully submitted.

Mr. Gordon presented the memorial of Robert J. Kerr,
contesting the election of Thomas B. Gaither, as Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Baltimore city;

Referred to the committee on Elections.

Mr. Denison, of Baltimore city, presented the petition of
Nicholas Popplein, for the passage of an act making valid
the acknowledgment of a deed;

Referred to the committee on Judiciary.

On motion of Mr. Dennis, of Somerset,
Leave was granted the Somerset county delegation to re-
port a bill to authorise and empower the commissioners ap-
pointed by chapter 107, session 1858, to sell a part of the
almshouse farm in Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Dennis, of Somerset,
Leave was granted the Somerset county delegation to re-
port a bill to amend the act of 1858, chapter 20, establishing
a new election district in Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Brown,
