orable body, to proceed to the election of State Treasurer,
State Librarian, and Keeper of the Chancery Records, on
Tuesday next, February 7, at one o'clock, P. M.; and we
have, on the part of the House, nominated Sprigg Harwood,
for the office of Treasurer, Edwin M. Shipley, for State Li-
brarian, and George W. Waters, as Keeper of the Chancery
Records.
We have appointed Messrs. Welch and Dennis, of Som-
erset, tellers, on the part of the House, to join such gentle-
men as may be named on the part of the Senate, to count the
ballots to be cast in the above proposed election, and report
the result.

Mr. Maxwell offered the following:
Ordered, That the State's Attorney of Baltimore city in-
form the House of Delegates, on or before the loth day of
February, 1860, the amount received by him as fees of his office,
from the register and sheriff of Baltimore city, and from all
other sources, during the years 1856-'57-'58-'59, respectively;
also the legal expenses of said office for those years—setting
forth particularly the several items constituting said ex-
penses;
Which was adopted.
The bill entitled, an act for the benefit of the Baltimore
City Protestant Episcopal Missionary Committee;
Was read the second time, and by special order the third
time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
