Mr. Maxwell, from the committee on Corporations, report-
ed favorably on the bill entitled, an act to change the name
of the Associated Professors of Saint Mary's College in the
city of Baltimore, to that of the Associated Professors of Saint
Mary's Seminary, in Baltimore city, and to confer to the said
corporation by its new name, all the rights and privileges
held and enjoyed under the old name ;

Which was read the first time.                         

Also, reported favorably on the bill entitled, an act to in-
corporate the Green Spring Avenue Company, passed January
session, 1858, chapter 216 ;

Which was ordered to be printed.                       

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Towsontown
land company ;

Being upon its second reading,                       

Mr. Denison, of Baltimore county, proposed the following
amendment:

Strike out the word "from," in the eleventh line, and

insert the word "for."

Which was assented to.         

The said bill was then read the second time, and by special

order a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow;
