THURSDAY, January 26, 1860.

The House met pursuant to adjournment, and was opened
with prayer by the Rev. Mr. Graff.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members :

Messrs. Kilbourn, Speaker, Durant, Morgan, Rasin, Med-
ders, Welch, Mackubin, Briscoe, Parran, Burgess, Ford, Wor-
thington, Denison, of Baltimore county, Quinlan, Jones, of
Talbot, Chaplain, Long, Stanford, Lawson, Linthicum,
Keene, Holland, Wilson, of Cecil, Maxwell, Miller, Bryan,
Wootton, Jones, of Prince George's, Legg, Starkey, Land-
ing, Dennis, of Worcester, Kessler, Claggett, Routzahn,
Johnson, Salmon, Naill, Wilson, of Harford, Bayless, Mc-
Coy, Straughn, Goldsborough, Krafft, Booze, Berry, Crow-
ley, McAllister, Turner, of Baltimore city, Denison, of Balti-
more city, Coudy, Eakle, Brining, Stake, Griffith, Harding,
Beall, McCleary, Roop, Gorsuch, Mills, Turner, of Howard,
and Brown.

The proceedings of yesterday were read.

The Speaker laid before the House the following report of
the Comptroller of Baltimore;

To the Honorable House of Delegates :

Gentlemen: In compliance with an order per your Clerk,
Milton Y. Kidd, Esq., I hereby transmit a statement, show-
ing the amount of moneys paid to the different Court Officers,
in accordance with your order of the 20th instant, received
yesterday.
