Mr. Parran from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to amend the 10th section of the 44th
article of the code of public general laws, which fixes the pay
for the support of pauper lunatics in the Maryland Hospital,
by reducing the amount to be paid for negro lunatics in said
Hospital;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Gordon, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act for the relief of Charles McBlair
and Margaret S. Duncan, of Allegany county;

Which was read the first time, and by special order a sec-
ond and third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
