resolutions of Mr. Jacobs, which were transmitted from this
House on Thursday last.

On motion of Mr. Jacobs,

The order offered by him on yesterday, and adopted, was
withdrawn by unanimous consent, and he submitted therefor
the following resolution:

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Adjutant General loan to the Annapolis Guards, commanded
by Colonel William A. Spencer, a stand of muskets, sufficient
to equip the said company, and take the receipt from Col.
Spencer for the return of the same, to he subject to be called
in by the said Adjutant General at his discretion;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Welch, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to amend the eighty-second section of
article two of the code of public local laws, relating to the
salary of the clerk to the county commissioners of Anne
Arundel county,

Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Welch,

The rules were suspended, the said bill read a second and
third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
