REPORT.
The committee on Printing, beg leave to report that they
have contracted with E. S. Riley, of Annapolis, for the print-
ing of five hundred copies of the Journal of Proceedings and ac-
companying Documents; and 130 copies of all Bills and
Reports ordered to he printed; us also all other and further
printing that shall he required by the House of Delegates,
upon the following, terms to wit:—For the Journal of Pro-
ceedings, the sum of one dollar and fifty cents per page, of
1450 ems; for the accompanying Documents, one dollar and
fifty cents per page of 1450 ems; for all Bills and Reports,
the sum of one dollar per page, and for all tubular work
double the above prices. The said E. S. Riley has further
stipulated and agreed to furnish daily, in accordance with the
Act of 1853, chapter 36, one hundred and thirty copies of
the daily morning Journal, for which he shall receive no
compensation—and the said E. S. Riley, has further stipu-
lated to execute and furnish all of said printing within thirty
days after the adjournment of the present session of the
General Assembly. The committee further report, that
the said E. S. Riley, has entered into bond to the State of
Maryland, in the sum of one thousand dollars, conditioned
for the proper and faithful performance of his contract.
The committee further report, that they have also con-
tracted with Henry Murray, for the preparation of an Index
to the Journal of the House of Delegates, for the sum of one
hundred and seventy-five dollars—the same to be placed in
the hands of the printer within ten days after the adjournment
of the Legislature.

Mr. Ford, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act requiring certain officers of the
Circuit court for Baltimore county, to have their usual places
of business at Towsontown ;
