On motion of Mr. Dennis, of Somerset,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary to report
a bill to amend the first section of the first article of the code,
relating to rules of jurisprudence.

On motion of Mr. Coudy,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to
report a bill to change the name of William Henry Hutton
to William Henry Earhart.

Also, leave was granted the committee on Corporations to
report a bill to amend the act incorporating Friendship Lodge,
No. 84, Free and Accepted Masons.

On motion of Mr. Welch,

Leave was granted the Anne Arundel county delegation
to introduce a bill to authorise the county commissioners for
Anne Arundel county to increase the compensation of their
clerk.

On motion of Mr. Bayless,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Rocks of Deer
Creek Turnpike Company.

On motion of Mr. Worthington,

Leave was granted the Baltimore county delegation to in-
troduce a bill amending the third article of the public local
laws, by adding a section relating to the sheriff of Baltimore
county.

On motion of Mr. McAllister,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate a city passenger railway, in the city
of Baltimore.

Mr. Mackubin offered the following:

Ordered, That five hundred copies of the accounts of the
Treasurer of Maryland, rendered and settled with the Comp-
troller, he printed for the use of the members of this House;

Which was adopted.

Ordered, That a committee of three be appointed by the
Speaker to fix the compensation of John Bradley, gas fitter,
