Gentlemen of the Senate:

We propose to your honorable body, that a joint committee
be appointed to visit and examine into the Maryland Hospital
at Baltimore city.

We have appointed on the part of the House, Messrs. Hard-
ing, Wilson, of Harford, and Mills.

On motion of Mr. Burgess,

Leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to in-
troduce a bill to amend the 817th section of the 4th article,
of the code of public local laws.

Also, leave was granted the committee on the Judiciary, to
report a bill to repeal the 706th section of the 4th article of
the public local laws.
