114               JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 19,

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Old School
Regular Particular Baptist Church, in the town of Salisbury,
Somerset county, Maryland;

Which were severally read the first time.                     

Mr. Landing, from a select committee, reported favorably
upon the bill entitled, an act to authorise the State Librarian
to furnish the Clerk of Worcester county, with certain acts
of Assembly, and Alexander's Chancery Practice ;             

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Chaplain from a select committee, reported favorably
upon the bill entitled, an act authorising William H. Ross, of
Talbot county, to construct a wharf on the navigable waters
of the Choptank river ;                                                   

Which was read the first time.                                   

Mr. Harding, from a select committee, reported favorably
upon the bill entitled, an act to add the following section relat-
ing to the almshouse of Montgomery county, article fifteen,
of the public local laws ;

Which was read the first time.

Also, a bill entitled, an act to preserve certain law records
of Montgomery county,

Which was read the first time.                                       

Mr. Bryan, from a select committee, reported favorably
upon the bill entitled, an act to amend the 149th section, of
the 16th article of the code of local laws, so as to extend the
power of the members of the board of trustees of primary,
schools, of Prince George's county;

Which was adopted.

On motion Mr. Bryan,

The rules were suspended, the said bill read a second and
third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
