Mr. Hall moved to lay the whole matter on the table,

Which was adopted.

Mr. Fiery offered the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that if the bill pro-
viding for the enrollment of the militia had been read, Messrs.
Silver and Fiery would have voted in the negative.

On motion of Mr. Dorsey,              

The House adjourned until to-morrow morning at 9 o'clock.
