83, of the free and accepted Masons, for the purposes therein
mentioned, passed at December session 1826, chapter 143;
Was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on
Corporations.
A bill entitled, an act to cure certain defects in sundry mortga-
ges and deeds, and bills of sale, executed by Commodore P.
Donoho to James R. Donoho and Joel Cornwell, of Dorchester
county;
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Judiciary.
And returned a bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of mo-
ney for the use of Joseph Stewart;
A bill entitled, an act to direct the payment of one half the ar-
rears of pension due by this State to the late John H. Stone of
the Revolutionary Army, at the time of his death, to Zepheniah
H. Turner, one of the heirs of said Stone, and the person legally
entitled to receive the same;
Severally endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."
