pensate Henry May, of Baltimore, for legal services rendered to
the State, &c;                                    

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Claims.

A bill entitled, an act to authorise Henry Weast and Christian.
Dagenhart, Trustees, to convey certain property to certain per-
sons, as Trustees of the United Brethren in Christ;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee,
on Judiciary.

A bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act passed at January
session, eighteen hundred and fifty-three, chapter 80, entitled, an
act to amend the act entitled, an act for clearing out Pocomoke
river, in Worcester county, by means, of a lottery, passed at De-
cember session, 1840, chapter 215;
