Mr. Daniel, moved a suspension of the rules to allow him to
introduce the following order:

Ordered, That the Sergeant at Arms, be and he is hereby re-
quired in addition to the appropriate duties of his office, to keep
regularly filed the journals and printed bills, both of this House
and the Senate, belonging to the members of this House.

A bill entitled, an act relating to the removal of cases from the
Criminal Court of Baltimore city;

Was read the third time, and on motion its further consideration
was postponed until Monday next.                                               

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills:

A bill entitled, an act to provide for the payment of A. C Hue-
guenin, lor a dock for the Senate Chamber, and the repairs of a
clock for the Court of Appeals;

Which was read first time,

Also, A bill entitled, an act to change the name of Geo. Smith
of Washington county, to that of William Clark Funk.

Also, A bill entitled, an act to authorize John A. Coe to settle
his accounts as guardian to Henry M. B. McPherson and deliver
over the estate to his said ward.

On motion of Mr. Merrick,                                     

The rules were suspended in order that the last named bill might
pass to a second reading:
