Mr. Silver, from the Committee on Corporations, reported fa-
vorably upon.

The Senate bill entitled, an act to incorporate a Company un-
der the name of the Hydrant Company of Port Tobacco;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Elkton and Sas-
safras River Rail Road Company;

Also, the bill entitled, an act to authorise the New Castle and
Frenchtown Turnpike and Rail Road Company to abandon that
portion of said Rail Road lying in the State of Maryland, and
for other purposes;                                           

Which were read the first time, and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

Mr. Harrington reported a bill entitled, an act to amend an
act to incorporate the Presbyterian Church in the city of Balti-
more;

Which was read the first time.                                      

Mr. Harrington, from the committee on colored population,
reported favorably on the Senate bill entitled, an act to extend the
provisions of an act passed at January session 1854, chapter

273.

Mr. Parker, from a select committee; reported favorably on a
bill entitled, an act to authorise the commissioners of Worcester
county to have all deeds recorded in Somerset county, prior to
1742, conveying title to land within the jurisdiction of Worcester
