696               JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS            [Mar. 5,

The Senate bill entitled, an act to authorise the Treasurer to
pay over to William F. Frick and Charles Frick, Executors of
the late Judge Frick, the salary of the said Judge for the quarter
ending the first cay of October, 1855;          

Was read the second time; by special order the third time,
and passed by yeas and nays as follows :

Anne Arundel County Academy;

the act entitled, an act to establish Primary Schools in Election
Districts numbers 3 and 4, in Caroline county:

Also, a bill entitled, an act to amend the act to incorporate the
Dime Savings Bank in the city of Baltimore;

Also, the bill entitled, an act to change the name of a certain
village in Caroline county, known by the name of Snow Hill, to
the name of Preston;                                  

Severally endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."
Also delivered the Senate bill entitled,

An act to authorise the Newcastle and Frenchtown Turnpike
and Railroad Company to abandon that portion of said road lying
