On motion of Mr. Kennedy,

The rules were suspended to allow him to report favorably on
a bill entitled, an act to aid in the construction of a railroad in
Cecil county.                                                                            

Also, report a bill entitled, an act for the relief of Mary Chau-
venet, executrix of William M. Chauvenet, late of the United
States Navy, deceased.                                                 

Mr. Silver, chairman of the committee on corporations,

Reported favorably on a bill entitled, an act authorizing the
Cumberland Coal and Iron Company to reduce the par value of its
capital stock.                                            

Mr. Bowie reported a bill entitled, an act amendatory of an
act passed January session 1853, chapter 300, entitled, an act to
provide for the election of Road Supervisors in the several coun-
ties of this State.
