A bill entitled, an act to provide for the compensation of Daniel
C. Digges and Thomas G. Pratt, for legal services rendered to
the State, in the case of the State of Maryland, at the instance
and upon the relation of T. Watkins Ligon, Governor, against
Thomas H. Osbourn, of Chas., late Sheriff of Prince George's
county;
Amendment proposed by the committee:
Strike out "two hundred" in the third and fourth lines of the
first section, and insert "one hundred,"
Amendment assented to.
