an act to authorise Charles S. Middleton, Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Prince George's county, to complete the alphabetical
index of law records and the personal records in his office, from
the 1st day of January, 1839, to the 1st day of December, 1855,
which were left incompleted by his predecessors;                   

Which was read the first time, and
On motion, of Mr. Brooke,

The rules were suspended to allow the said bill to be read the
second time ;

And three-fourths concurring, the said bill was read the third
time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows:
