Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays ;"               

And delivered the following bills:            

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Gilmor House com-
pany ;                                                                                   

Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Par-
tridge, Valiant, and Smith, of Baltimore city ;

A bill entitled, an act to make valid and effectual the devise
and provisions contained in the last will and testament of John
K. Rowe, deceased, for the benefit of the Baptist Church, in the
Village of Hereford, by granting the leave of the Legislature
thereto, and creating a corporate body by the name of the Trus-
tees of the Baptist Church in the Village of Hereford, in Balti-
more county, as an essential agency for that purpose;

Was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Rankin, Cul-
lings and Chilcoat.                                                         

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Farmers' and Mer-
chant's Bank of Cecil county ;

Was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Stubbs, Mil-
ler and Scott;

And a bill entitled, an act to incorporate a Bank at Centreville,
in Queen Anne's county ;                                                       

Was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Goldsborough,
Rolph and Kennedy.                               

The House proceeded with the bills entitled to the third read-

ing ;                                       

A bill entitled, an act to lay out and establish a new Election
District in Carroll county, to be called District number Eleven,
or New Windsor District;                                                               

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
