A bill entitled, an act to authorize the Orphans' Court of Kent
county and Justices of the Peace, binding out negro children, to
regulate freedom dues to the apprentices, and secure a compensa-
tion to the parent or other persons, for raising such children.

Mr. Daniel offered the following amendments;                   

Insert "Worcester" "Somerset" and "Caroline" in the 1st
section of the 2nd line after the word "Kent," and change the
word "court" to "courts" in said line, and the word "county" to
"counties."
