Mr. Fiery, Chairman of the Committee on elections, made the

following                       

REPORT:

The Committee on Elections beg leave to report that they have
examined the returns of the judges of elections, in the several
counties and Cities of Baltimore, and find the following members
elected to the House of Delegates for the term of two years,
commencing November Seventh, Eighteen Hundred and Fifty
Five, viz.:

St. Mary's County.—Edmund J. Plowden, Esquire, Benjamin
G. Harris.

Kent County.—William J. Griffith and Emory Sudler, Es-
quires.

Anne Arundel County—William H. Dorsey, Benjamin C.
Neff, and John H. Waters, Esquires.

Calvert County.—Joseph A. Wilson and George W. Dowell,

Esquires.

Charles County.—William B. Stone, William D. Merrick.

Baltimore County.—John C. Holland, Aquila Chilcoat, Samuel
M. Rankin, Joseph H. Wright, Nelson Cullings and Harlow W.
Heath, Esquires.

Washington County.—Lewis P. Fiery, Benjamin Witmer,
David Reichard, William Loughridge and John Corby, Esquires.

Montgomery County.—Charles A. Harding and Elisha J. Hall,
Esquires.

Allegany County.—F. B. Tower, Joseph A. Wickes and George
W. Kildow, William Frey, Esquires,

Carroll County.—Stephen T. C. Brown, John E. Smith and
David Buffington, Esquires.

Howard County.—Claudius Stewart and Thomas Rowles,

Esquires.

Talbot County.—William B. Clark and William D. Roberts,
Esquires.

Somerset County.—Purnell Toadvine, Hance Lawson, Levin
M. Wilson and William Daniel, Esquires.

Dorchester County.—John W. Dail, William Frazier and
Algernon Thomas, Esquires.                                                         

Cecil County;—David Scott of Jno., Slater B. Stubbs and
Samuel Miller, Esquires.

Prince George's County.—John B. Brooke and William D.
