The rules were suspended, to enable him to report from the
committee appointed by the House of Delegates, to examine into
the affairs and condition of the Farmers and Merchants Bank of
Greensborough.

On motion of Mr. Kennedy,              

It was ordered that 100 copies of said report be printed.

Mr. Silver submitted the following message:

By the House of Delegates,

Feb. 15th, 1866.

Gentlemen of the Senate,

Your honorable body will please return the message which has
been sent to you, desiring the Senate to go into an election of
Treasurer and other officers, at 2 o'clock to-day.
