Which was adopted and sent to the Senate.

The House proceeded with the ordinary business of the
day.                                                   

A bill entitled, an act to make the salaries of officers of this
State subject to attachment,

Was read the second time.                                 

On motion of Mr. Lester,               

The rules were suspended, to take up for the second reading
a bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed purporting to be from
Edward Utley to James McMullen ;                   

Which was read the second time; and

On motion of Mr. Lester,

Three-fourths of the members concurring,

The said bill was read the third time, and passed by yeas and
nays as follows:
