The rules were suspended to enable him to report favorably from
the committee on claims, on a bill entitled, an act to appropriate a
sum of money to Joseph M. Palmer, for services rendered the State
in the case of the State versus Eli V. Parrish, Isaac D. Rowe,
George Hape and George Otto, indicted for burglary in the cir-
cuit court for Carroll county, and removed thence upon affidavit
to the circuit court for Frederick county;
Which was read the first time.
