Mr. Lester chairman of the Committee on Inspections, made
the following

REPORT:

To the Honorable the General Assembly of Maryland.

By order of the House of Delegates the Committee on Inspec-
tions were required to take into consideration the expediency of
appointing additional Flour Inspectors in the city of Baltimore..
Alter giving this question that mature deliberation which its im-
portance demands, your committee are of the opinion that there
is a sufficiency of Inspectors to meet promptly all demands which
may be made upon them to inspect this great staple of our State
and market.

Feb. 9th, 1856.                 

Which was read and adopted.

Mr. Partridge chairman of Committee on the Judiciary report-
ed favorably on a bill entitled an act for the relief of the heirs at
law of John Cochran late of New Castle county in the State of
Delaware, deceased, and to authorize the delivery of a certain
deed therein mentioned;                                          

Which was read the first time.

Also on a bill entitled, an act relating to masters of vessels,
sailors, and apprentices;

Which was read.

Mr. Scott from the Committee on Judiciary reported with amend-
ments a bill entitled, an act to authorize the county commission-
ers of the several counties of this State, to build bridges in their
respective counties, and to levy for the cost thereof;

Which was read.                                                   

Mr. Harrington from the Committee on Judiciary, made a fa-
vorable report on a bill entitled, an act to make the salaries of
officers of this State subject to attachment;

Which was read.                                                           

Mr. Daniel from the Committee on Judiciary reported a bill
entitled, an act requiring certain duties to be performed by Judges
of this State;                      

Which was read.                 

Mr. Partridge, chairman of the Committee on Judiciary, made
