incorporate the directory of the book concern of the Methodist
Protestant Church of Baltimore city;

The House proceeded with the ordinary business of the day.

A bill entitled an act to incorporate the Columbia and Port
Deposit Railroad Company.

On motion of Mr. Stubbs,
The said bill was postponed till Wednesday the 13th instant.

A bill entitled, an act authorizing the compromise of assaults
and batteries, and supplementary to the act of 1831, chapter 208;
