So the memorial was ordered to lie on the table.

Mr. Rowles presented a petition of sundry citizens of Howard
county, praying that a change may be made in the license laws
to regulate hawkers and peddlers for the better protection of
merchants, &c.                               

Which was referred to the Committee on Judiciary.
Also, presented a petition of sundry citizens of How-
ard county, asking that a change may be made in the public road
law.                                                                                                              

Which was referred to the Howard and Montgomery county
delegations.                                                          

Mr. Wright presented a petition of G. Emmert and others,
asking to have the line between the first and second district of
Baltimore county altered.

Which was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.
The order of the day having arrived,
On motion of Mr. Kildow,
The order of the day was postponed till two o'clock.
