A bill, entitled an act to authorize Jacob Hoff Edward Kean,
and Lewis Turner, trustees to execute a deed of certain lands in
Baltimore county,

Was read the second time.
A bill, entitled an act an additional supplement to an act pass-
at December session, 1838, entitled an act to provide for the es-
tablishment of District Schools in Charles county,
Was read the second time.                                       

A bill entitled, an act for the benefit of the legal Representa-
tives of Thomas Woolford, late a Lieutenant in the army of the
Revolution;

Was read the second time.               

A bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of money to pay
William Cook and George D. Tewksbury, commissioners to
build a Tobacco warehouse in the city of Baltimore, for their
services;                                                                    

Was read the second time.

A bill entitled, an act to build a Bridge over the River Pataps-
co, at Ferry Bar.              

On motion of Mr. Dorsey,

The further reading of the bill was postponed till Thursday
the 7th inst.               

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore Steam Tow-
ing company;

Was read the third time, and passed by yens and nays as fol-
lows:
